These are the terms for using Criczo, operated by CODEJUNCTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED. Creating an account means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
A scorecard is a shared record. Once a match is scored, it belongs to the teams and players in it, not only to the person who entered it. That has two consequences worth being clear about: the scorer is responsible for entering results honestly, and a completed match stays on the record even if one participant later deletes their account.
Criczo records what a scorer enters. We do not verify it, we do not adjudicate disputes about it, and organisers remain responsible for their own tournament rules and results.
Player auctions in Criczo are a way of organising teams. Bids are made in tournament points or currency set by the organiser. Criczo does not process payment between organisers, teams or players, holds no money, and is not a party to any agreement you make with them.
Where Criczo lets you book a ground, the contract for that booking is between you and the venue. Prices, availability, cancellation and refunds are the venue’s to set and honour. We will help where we can, but we are not the provider of the pitch.
We may suspend or remove an account that does these things. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.
Photos, clips and text you upload stay yours. You give us permission to store and display them inside Criczo so the app can work — showing your photo on a scorecard, for instance. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload.
We work to keep Criczo running, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption. We may change or withdraw features. If we plan to remove something you depend on, we will give notice in the app where we can.
Criczo is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for disputes between players, teams, organisers or venues. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using Criczo and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may close an account that breaks these terms. Scorecards remain, for the reason given above.
Criczo lists grounds and turfs and takes bookings for them. The venue, not Criczo, owns the ground and provides what you are paying for. We take the booking, hold the record and settle the money to the venue.
Cancelling more than 24 hours before your slot is refunded in full, between 6 and 24 hours is refunded at half, and under 6 hours is not refunded. If the venue cancels you get everything back whatever the notice. The full terms, including how long a refund takes to reach you, are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
The condition of a ground, its facilities and its safety are the venue’s responsibility. Cricket carries a risk of injury and you play at your own risk. We are responsible for the booking service itself — taking your payment, holding your slot and refunding you under the policy above.
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and we will tell you in the app if the change is significant. Continuing to use Criczo after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat have jurisdiction.
