Apple Box Cricket Tournament
Apple XI won by 4 wickets
Everything is counted in runs and divided by ten. Ten runs make a point, and a wicket is worth a number of runs that depends on how long the match is — 18 in a T20, 25 in a fifty-over game — because wickets are harder to come by the longer you have to get them.
Maidens convert to wickets at the same rate: two make one in a T20. Three wickets add a bonus, five add more. Scoring faster than your own side, or going for less than the rest of the attack, adds a percentage on top.
Fielding counts. A catch or a stumping earns a fifth of the wicket — the bowler still gets all of it, because both of them made it happen — and a run-out earns the whole thing.
